Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at the John J. Kane Regional Center – Scott in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance residents’ quality of life in line with their goals.

You will educate staff and patients, adhere to professional standards, and collaborate across departments to optimize dining and nutrition services. A pathway to ongoing QA involvement is included.

Qualifications

• Passed CDR national examination or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs.
