Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at the John J Kane Regional Center – Scott, in Pittsburgh. The RD will assess patients’ nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and help maintain nutritional status while improving quality of life in line with resident goals.

Responsibilities include providing nutrition expertise to the team, educating patients and staff, and ensuring compliance with practice standards and facility regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed dietitian with national exam (CDR) or eligibility
• 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years
• Licensed or certified as required by state law
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights
• Ability to teach nutrition concepts to staff and residents

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team
• Educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants
• Adhere to professional standards and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to dining service procedures and nutrition policies
• Support continuous quality improvement programs
