Cura Hospitality is seeking a registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, identify interventions, and support residents' quality of life through personalized nutrition care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the care team, adherence to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and participation in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Passing the national exam by the CDR or eligibility per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of assessment, care planning and residents’ rights regulations.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments in setting up procedures and policies for dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
