Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services at a long-term care facility. You will assess residents, develop care plans, provide counseling, and ensure CMS/state regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• If multi-site RD, must have valid Driver's License.
• RD-Eligible and provisional licensure accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan in EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans based on findings, labs, weight trends and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
