Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility and opportunities to positively impact resident care and outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, all while adhering to regulatory standards and company policies. Benefits and ongoing training support career development.

Qualifications

• Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Must hold a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• If multi-site RD, must have a valid Driver's License.
• RD-Eligible and provisional licensure accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings and weight trends.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents'/patients’ health and well-being.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
