Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition services for residents in a long-term care facility. The role supports interdisciplinary teams and requires providing nutrition education and counseling.

The position offers flexible schedules and potential coverage across multiple buildings. RD licensure and state approval are required, with eligibility for provisional licensure in some locations.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• If multi-site RD, must have a valid Driver's License.
• RD-Eligible and provisional state licensure accepted in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents/patients and document the plan in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings and weight trends.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents/patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care to improve health and wellbeing.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, and as desired.
• All other duties as assigned.
