Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced registered dietitian for John J. Kane Regional Center in Pittsburgh, to assess nutritional needs and implement interventions that support residents’ health and quality of life.

You will educate staff and collaborate with the care team, uphold standards of practice, and participate in continuous quality improvement efforts within the dining and nutrition program. This is a full-time onsite role with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian with the CDR national exam completed.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others regarding nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in developing and improving continuous quality improvement programs.
