Zusammenfassung

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients' nutritional needs, implement interventions, and work with the care team to maintain or improve nutritional status and quality of life.

Responsibilities include providing nutrition expertise, educating residents and staff, following Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and contributing to quality improvement

Qualifikationen

• Passed the national exam or eligible for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
• Complies with continuing education requirements (75 hours every 5 years).
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach nutrition and dietetics to others.

Aufgaben

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs.
