Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center in Pittsburgh. The RD will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and enhance quality of life consistent with residents’ goals.

Responsibilities include providing nutrition guidance to the care team, educating patients and staff, complying with professional standards, and contributing to quality improvement programs within a hospital/long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Strong commitment to continuing education and professional portfolio development.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
