Job summary

Cura-Hospitality in Pittsburgh is seeking a registered dietitian to assess the nutritional needs of patients at John J Kane Regional Center - Scott and to initiate interventions to maintain or improve each resident’s nutritional status and quality of life.

You will educate the health care team, ensure compliance with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and collaborate with multiple departments to optimize dining services and care planning.

Qualifications

• Must have passed the CDR exam or be eligible.
• Completes continuing education requirements every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
