Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at John J Kane Regional Center in Pittsburgh. The RD will assess nutritional needs, plan interventions, and help improve residents’ quality of life in collaboration with the care team.

The role requires CDR exam passage or eligibility, state licensure, ongoing CEU hours, and strong teaching abilities to educate patients, staff, and families within a supportive long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• RD must have passed the CDR national examination or be eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in developing, reviewing, and improving quality programs.
