Job summary

Opco-Skilled-Management- is seeking a full-time dietary support aide to assist residents with food preferences and diet considerations. The role requires a high school diploma, a food handler’s permit, and the ability to work independently under supervision of a licensed dietician.

You will interview residents, update tray-card data with food preferences, and refer any nutritional concerns to the dietician to ensure safe, therapeutic meals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Food Handler’s Permit required.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and task prioritization.
• Familiarity with normal and therapeutic diets and food safety.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with a licensed dietician preferred.
• DTR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview residents and obtain food preferences and complete Resident Food Profile.
• Update resident’s food preference into tray card data base.
• Refer residents to Dietician for any resident’s having nutritional or eating issues.
