Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services in California is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments and materials, and assisting the doctor during procedures.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bi-lingual in Spanish, preferred
• California Registered Dental Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification
• Coronal Polish Certification
• Current BLS certification
• Sealant Certification, preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
• Take IO's
• Charting
• Sealants, if applicable

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $23.89-$32.02/hour (Based on experience)
