Job summary

Choice-Healthcare-Services in Modesto, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and patients, passing instruments, and assisting the doctor.

The role requires CA RDA license, X-ray and coronal polish certifications, current BLS, and the ability to take and expose X-rays, polish teeth, and maintain sterile environments.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• California Registered Dental Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification
• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Sealant Certification, preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Operate x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
• Take IO's
• Charting
• Sealants, if applicable

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $20.77-27.84/hour (Based on experience)
