Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments and materials, and passing instruments during procedures. The role requires the California Registered Dental Assistant license with X-Ray and Coronal Polish certifications, and current BLS.

• Certification from a dental college or 3+ months related experience (or equivalent).
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays.
• Prophy teeth.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment.
• Take IOs and charting.
• Sealants, if applicable.

Summary

The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range $23.89-$32.02/hour (Based on experience)

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene

• Sterilizes instruments

Education and/or Experience

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• BIlingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• California Registered Dental Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification
• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification
