Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dental care delivery, prepare treatment rooms and instruments, and assist with procedures under the supervision of dentists and specialists. The role involves passing instruments, taking x-rays, charting, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3+ months related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• California RDA license required or equivalent.
• X-Ray Certification and BLS required.
• Coronal Polish Certification recommended or required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays.
• Prophy teeth.
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment.
• Take IO's.
• Charting.
• Sealants, if applicable.

Summary

The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range

$22.84-$30.63 (Based on experience)
