Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Antioch, CA. The role supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, passing instruments, and assisting in procedures in accordance with the Dental Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
• California Registered Dental Assistant license / X-Ray Certification / Coronal Polish / BLS

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
• Take IO's
• Charting
• Sealants, if applicable

Summary

The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range $23.89-$32.02/hour (Based on experience)
