Job summary

Choice Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials, and passing instruments during procedures. The role includes operating x-ray equipment, prophy, and patient instruction on oral hygiene, with charting and treatment planning alongside the dentist.

California RDA license and X-Ray certification are required; bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training.
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
• California Registered Dental Assistant License and X-Ray Certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures.
• Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays.
• Prophy teeth and instructs patients on oral hygiene.
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor.
• Sterilizes instruments.
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment.
• Take IO's and charting.
• Sealants, if applicable.

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $23.89-$32.02/hour (Based on experience)

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or trainingOR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• BIlingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• California Registered Dental Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification

• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Sealant Certification, preferred
