Job summary

CHOICE Healthcare Services in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support pediatric dental care. You will fully utilize RDA and dental assistant skills while working with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists and Anesthesiologists.

Compensation includes a $2000 sign-on bonus and a pay range of $21.83–$29.23 per hour plus bonus. You will assist in procedures, operate x-ray equipment, and help maintain a clean, efficient treatment environment in a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3+ months related experience; equivalent combo of education and experience preferred.

Summary

The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range

$21.83-$29.23/hour (Based on experience) Plus Bonus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments
• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
• Take IO's
• Charting
• Sealants, if applicable

Education and/or Experience

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• California Registered Dental Assistant License

• Current BLS certification
