Job summary

Choice Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Chico, California. This role offers an excellent career opportunity with a pay range of $23.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. A $1000 sign-on bonus is also included.

The RDA will support dental care by preparing treatment rooms and guiding patient procedures. We're looking for candidates with a California RDA license, X-Ray certification, and a commitment to professional growth within a fun team environment.

Qualifications

• Certification from a dental college or 3+ months related experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in procedures.
• Operate x-ray equipment and take x-rays.
• Instruct patients on oral hygiene.
• Setup and prepare treatment rooms.

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $23.00 to -$30.00 per/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

You can fully utilize your RDA skills working with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists and Anesthesiologists

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists the doctor in procedures

• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
• Prophy teeth
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor
• Sterilizes instruments

• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
• Take IO's
• Charting
• Sealants, if applicable

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or trainingOR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• California Registered Dental Assistant License
• X-Ray Certification

• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Sealant Certification, preferred
