Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma-equivalent.
• Certification/licensure as mandated by state for dental assistants.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate in dental assisting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in creating a positive patient experience.
• Maintain clean, sterile operatories and comply with OSHA/HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
• Take and develop dental X-rays and intra-oral photographs as directed.
