Job summary

Apple Valley Modern Dentistry is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. The RDA assists the dentist, helps with patient care, and contributes to a clean, safe, and positive dental experience.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, relevant certification/licensure as required by state, and the ability to maintain infection control standards. We offer benefits and opportunities for growth along with a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state mandates for certification, licensure or registration must be followed.
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent combo of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories per ADA guidelines; ensure regulatory compliance.
