Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant for Brea Modern Dentistry in California to join a team of experienced professionals. The RDA will support dentists, prepare patients, take x-rays, and educate patients to promote optimal treatment.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterile environments, complying with safety regulations, and assisting with procedures. The role emphasizes patient care, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced dental office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-mandated training.
• Certifications/licenses required by state (e.g. radiograph exposure, coronal polish, etc).
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best treatment with urgency.
• Support an excellent patient experience by addressing needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prep patients for treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
