Job summary

Dentists of Duarte is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist in delivering high-quality care. You’ll assist with patient management, x-ray time, intra-oral imaging, and chair-side support to help patients commit to the best possible treatment with urgency.

You will uphold infection control standards, help educate patients on oral care, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while contributing to a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent as mandated by state.
• Certifications/licensures/registrations required by the state.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience and address patient needs.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Comply with State/Federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).

Education
