PDS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in La Puente, CA. The RDA will support the dentist to ensure the best possible treatment, educate patients, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include radiographs, chair-side assistance, and maintaining sterile, compliant clinical areas. The role requires adherence to federal/state safety regulations, infection control, and patient privacy standards; certifications may be required per state regulations.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED completed as mandated by state regulation.
• Completed associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college/technical school.
• State-mandated certifications/licenses/registrations (e.g., radiograph exposure, coronal polish).

Aufgaben

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment; assist doctors.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines; comply with regulations.
