PDS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the dentist in delivering optimal patient care in Anaheim. The role includes aiding in treatment setup, chair-side support, taking X-rays, and educating patients on oral health.

Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile environment, sterilizing tools, and ensuring compliance with ADA, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines. A state-approved education and licensure are required, with an Associate degree or certificate preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state training courses.
• State-mandated certifications/licenses/registrations (e.g. radiograph exposure) are required.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred or equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on optimal treatment and patient concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment; assist doctors for efficient care.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral care as directed.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal, ADA, HIPAA and HR policies.
