Job summary

Poway Family Dental Group and Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering high-quality care. You will assist with chair-side procedures, take x-rays and intra-oral pictures, educate patients, and help ensure a smooth, efficient patient flow while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

Responsibilities include assisting the dentist to gain patient commitment, preparing treatment areas, sterilizing instruments, and following regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with mandated state certification/licensure.
• State-mandated certifications/licenses/registrations as applicable.
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from a college/technical school, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories according to ADA guidelines.
