San Pedro Smiles Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists with patient care, radiographs, and intra-oral imaging. You will help educate patients, prep treatment rooms, and maintain sterile environments to ensure efficient, quality dental care.

The role emphasizes chair-side support, adherence to safety regulations (OSHA, HIPAA), and compliance with state regulations while delivering excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by state (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure, ultrasonic scaling).
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from accredited college/technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain sterile, clean environment and prepare patients for treatment.
