Job summary

Beach Dental Group and Orthodontics is looking to hire a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support the dentist in delivering optimal care and ensuring patients feel confident and well-informed throughout treatment.

The role requires maintaining a sterile environment, performing radiographs and intra-oral photographs as directed, and educating patients on oral health. The successful candidate will adhere to all safety regulations and participate in a team-driven, patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with mandated state training requirements.
• State-mmandated certifications/licensure such as radiographic exposure.
• Associates degree or 1-year certificate preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment for patients and staff; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral photos as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).

Education
