PDS Health in San Jose, CA seeks a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists, prepare patients, take x-rays and intra-oral photos, and ensure a clean, sterile environment in line with ADA and OSHA guidelines.

You will educate patients, assist with procedures, maintain equipment, and help deliver the Perfect Patient Experience while adhering to safety regulations and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state certification/licensure training.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by state (e.g. radiograph exposure, coronal polish, etc).
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from a college or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in patient experience by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain clean, sterile environment; prepare patients and assist doctors during treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Comply with state, federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, etc).
