Job summary

Anaheim Modern Dentistry is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to support the dentist in delivering high-quality care in a busy practice in Anaheim, CA. The role involves assisting with patient care, intra-oral imaging, and maintaining a clean, sterile clinical environment in line with ADA and OSHA guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, appropriate state certifications, and additional training or an associate degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-mandated training
• State certifications/licenses as required by state regulations
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience during patient care
• Maintain clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize/disinfect instruments and equipment per ADA guidelines
• Comply with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.)
