Job summary

Stevens Ranch Modern Dentistry & My Kid's Dentist and Orthodontics is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering top-quality care. You will assist with treatment planning, maintain a clean, sterile environment, and help educate patients about oral health and postoperative care.

The RDA will perform x-rays and intra-oral images as directed, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and contribute to a positive patient experience within a busy practice in Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus state-required certification/licensure.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by the state.
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment and prepare patients for treatment.
• Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.).

Education
