Job summary

Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiography exams including TTE, TEE, and stress testing. The role requires proficiency in both non-invasive and invasive cardiac imaging and accurate documentation in the EMR.

Qualified candidates typically hold an Associate degree in cardiovascular technology or related field, BLS, and RDCS/RCS certification is preferred. On-call hours are required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography, or related field preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• RDCS or RCS certification by ARDMS/CCI preferred.
• Minimum one year of Cardiac Sonographer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment to evaluate the heart.
• Demonstrate proficiency in non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Understand cardiac anatomy, exam procedures, and interpretation of results.
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures.
• Access and document findings in the EMR (EPIC).
• On-call hours required.
