Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join a dedicated imaging team. This full-time role supports the hospital's cardiology services with standard ultrasound exams and invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent as per IAC/ARDMS
• No minimum experience required
• Current ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification or eligibility required

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures
• Provide patient services using ultrasound equipment
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology
• Communicate effectively with staff and radiologists

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• - Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program, a CAAHEP accredited Cardiac Sonographer program, or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: None

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

• - Current registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with RDCS certification or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with RCS certification.
• - Must obtain appropriate credential within twelve months of hire date.
• - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association is required.
