Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• 1 year of related experience in hospital inpatient or outpatient settings.
• BCLS certification and RCS/ARDCS/CCI or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric ages.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Overview

The hours are every other Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday, 12 hour shifts either 6a-6p or 7a-7p, and EVERY Wednesday 12 hr shifts

Work Experience

1 year of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer Required

Licenses and Certifications

ARDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Required or

CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Required
