Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers, GA is seeking an Ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and invasive procedures under established standards. You will provide patient services, interpret cross-sectional anatomy, and coordinate with radiology staff to ensure quality care.

Requirements include completion of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and BLS certification upon hire; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (required).
• No experience required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures per established standards.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology and communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. Qualifications:
