Job summary

Piedmont-Healthcare is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to operate ultrasound equipment and perform clinical exams in a supportive hospital setting.

You will provide patient services, apply knowledge of anatomy, and communicate with radiologists and staff to ensure quality care across neonatal to geriatric patients. BCLS certification is required upon hire, and no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is required.
• No experience required.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures following standards.
• Provides patient services using ultrasound equipment across all age groups.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy and pathology in scans.

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
