Job summary

ABA A Step at a Time Care in Midtown Manhattan is seeking four Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team and support children in home, school, or community settings.

You will implement ABA therapy plans designed by a BCBA, collect progress data, and collaborate with families and colleagues to promote client success. A high school diploma is required; some college is preferred, and reliable transportation is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $30/hour
• Part-Time Role #1: Monday to Friday 2:30 – 6:30 PM and weekends (Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM preferred or flexible)
• Part-Time Role #2: Monday to Friday 3:00 to 7:30 PM and weekends (10:00 AM to 4:15 PM on Saturday and Sunday preferred or flexible)
• Part-Time Role #3: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to noon and weekends if interested
• Part-Time Role #4: Monday and Wednesday 8:30-2:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday 1-6 PM
• Location: Midtown New York, NY

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:
