Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care in New York is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy across in-home, in-school, and community settings under BCBA supervision. You will collect data, support family collaboration, and maintain a positive therapy environment.

The role offers part-time hours with pay between $22 and $30 per hour, paid training, and opportunities for growth in a supportive, client-focused practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior Technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $30/hour
• Part-Time: Monday to Friday 3:00 - 6:00 PM
• Location: UWS New York, NY

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
