Job summary

Our Child Therapy is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician for in-person services in Rocky Mount, NC. You will work with children and families, delivering ABA services, implementing treatment plans, collecting data, and educating parents to support home and classroom routines.

The role offers a part-time schedule Mon-Fri 2:30pm-6:30pm and every other Sunday 2:30pm-6:30pm, with a $24.00-$28.00 per hour wage and on-site/in-home care opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and strong people skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred, but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with children.
• Collaborate with BCBA and Clinical Director.
• Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports.
• Implement behavior-based treatment plans.
• Educate parents on classroom support techniques.
• Ensure safety and quality care for clients.
• Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources.
• Maintain training materials and supplies.
• Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals to community resources.
