Job summary

Our Child Therapy in Yorktown, VA seeks a part-time Behavior Technician to deliver ABA services in client homes and daycares. You will implement treatment plans, collect data, educate parents, and work with BCBA and Clinical Director to support children’s progress.

Hours are 25 per week, Monday–Friday 9:00am–2:00pm, paying $24.00–$28.00 per hour. In-person, local travel required, with paid training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong people skills and clear communication are essential.
• Reliable transportation and ability to lift 30 lbs may be required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We’re seeking a passionate, experienced Behavior Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll work closely with children and families, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You’ll play a vital role in implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and conducting data collection. Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Experience with children and strong people skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred, but not required (training provided)
