Our Child Therapy in Virginia is seeking a passionate, experienced Behavior Technician to join our team. You will work closely with children and families, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in client homes in Hampton, VA.

You will collaborate with BCBA and Clinical Director, conduct data collection, and help implement treatment plans while educating families. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week with afternoon/evening hours and professional growth opportunities in a

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience with children and strong people skills beneficial.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly may be needed.

Job Description

We're seeking a passionate, experienced Behavior Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll work closely with children and families, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You'll play a vital role in implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and conducting data collection. Job Type

Part-Time (20 Hours)

Salary

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday 2:30pm-6:30pm

Work Location

In-Person / Client Home- Hampton, VA

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with children
• Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director
• Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports
• Implement behavior-based treatment plans
• Educate parents on classroom support techniques
• Ensure safety and quality care for clients
• Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources
• Maintain training materials and supplies
• Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals to community resources

Requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Experience with children and strong people skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred, but not required (training provided)
