Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children and adults with autism and related developmental differences in home and community settings.

You will work one-on-one with clients under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to build communication, social, and daily living skills. Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field
• At least one year of experience as a: Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar child-focused role

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Support positive behavior development
• Record session data and client progress
• Create engaging and structured learning environments

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field

Job description

Hourly Pay: $22/hr. - $26/hr.
