Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to work with children with autism and related developmental differences in home and community settings.

You will provide one-on-one behavioral support, implement treatment plans created by BCBAs, and help clients improve communication, social, and adaptive skills while receiving ongoing guidance and support.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field preferred.
• Or at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, paraprofessional, or related role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs

Job description

Hourly Pay: $22/hr. - $26/hr.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 18 years old

Plus one of the following:

OR

• At least one year of experience as a:
  • Behavior Technician
  • ABA Therapist
  • Behavioral Interventionist
  • Paraprofessional
  • Child Development Professional
  • Camp Counselor
  • Similar child-focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
• Paid training and ongoing support provided
