Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support children with autism, delivering one-on-one behavioral assistance in home and community settings. You will implement treatment plans created by BCBAs and help clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills in a structured learning environment.

Travel between client locations may be required; mileage reimbursement is available and training is provided. Competitive hourly pay and strong BCBA support are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field (Plus One Of The Following).
• Or at least one year of experience as a Behavioral Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, paraprofessional, child development professional, camp counselor, or similar child-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.
