Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children with autism and related developmental differences at home and in community settings.

You will work one-on-one under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to build communication, social, and daily living skills. The role offers competitive hourly pay ($22–$26/hr), weekly pay, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework or experience in relevant fields is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Record session data and client progress.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent

Plus one of the following:

• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field
• At least one year of experience as a:
  • Behavior Technician
  • ABA Therapist
  • Behavioral Interventionist
  • Paraprofessional
  • Child Development Professional
  • Camp Counselor
  • Similar child‑focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients’ homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
• Paid training and ongoing support provided
