Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism in home and community settings. You will implement BCBA-developed treatment plans, help build communication and social skills, and record progress while receiving BCBA support.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Alternatively, one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, or related role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or related field

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent

Plus one of the following:

• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field

OR

• At least one year of experience as a:
• Behavior Technician
• ABA Therapist
• Behavioral Interventionist
• Paraprofessional
• Child Development Professional
• Camp Counselor
• Similar child-focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
• Paid training and ongoing support provided
