Job summary

The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce seeks a Manager, Workforce Alignment to design and evaluate programs that unite industry, education, and workforce resources in Northwest Ohio. This role focuses on regional labor market needs, career exploration, and strengthening employer partnerships.

The position is local to Northwest Ohio with no remote work and includes supervision of one direct report. Travel to Columbus may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong interest in workforce development and regional economic growth.
• Excellent planning, organization and follow‑up skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate subcommittees, set agendas, document minutes, and ensure follow-up actions.
• Cultivate relationships with employers, educators, and workforce partners to advance regional initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to support manufacturers with workforce, education and training resources.
• Represent the Chamber on committees and boards and report on grant opportunities.
• Support intake and 1:1 consultations, document priorities, and coordinate program referrals.
• Publish quarterly workforce-focused communications and manage Center for Training & Development programs.
