The Toledo Regional Chamber Of Commerce seeks a Manager, Workforce Alignment in Toledo, OH to develop, implement, and evaluate programs uniting industry, education, and workforce resources. This role supports regional talent strategies and economic growth by aligning labor market needs with regional assets.

It is a local, non-remote position with one direct report. Strong planning, reporting, and communication skills are essential, and occasional travel to Columbus is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong interest in workforce development within our community.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree or at least 2-5 years of related field experience.
• Must be a self-directed individual with excellent planning, organization and follow-up skills.
• Expert skills in report writing and computer applications, including Word and Excel.
• Occasional travel to Columbus.

Responsabilités

• Oversee subcommittee work: set agendas, facilitate meetings, take minutes, and coordinate live convenings.
• Steward regional relationships with employers, educators and workforce partners to support solutions.
• Create awareness among regional manufacturers and conduct outreach to identify needs.
• Represent the Chamber on committees and boards.
• Assist with grant research, reporting, and compliance across funding mandates.
• Support intake and 1:1 consultations to identify workforce needs and connect to programs.
• Connect employers to training resources and talent pipeline strategies.
• Publish quarterly workforce newsletters and other communications.
