Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Traveling Wastewater Operations Technician to operate multiple Veolia contracted facilities, cover vacations and absences, and support new account start-ups.

You will perform process changes, troubleshoot equipment, conduct sampling and testing, train local technicians, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across sites, with extended travel often 1–2 weeks or longer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in wastewater treatment operations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational coverage across Veolia facilities during vacations and absences.
• Train local technicians and develop training materials for regional use.
• Ensure best practices, documentation, lab testing, and safety compliance.
• Support new account start-ups with procedures and goals.
• Analyze data and optimize processes to prevent non-compliance.
